At the Morris Community Center, our mission is to make sure that all people, especially seniors living in the Hamilton Heights, West Harlem, and Manhattanville neighborhoods, live in decent affordable housing. And that they get the necessary supportive services like nutritional, cultural and other services that add to their quality of life.
We provide social, educational, health and housing services to the elderly, individuals and families who are in financial need. Particularly for those who are at 90% or below median income. Our goal is to advocate and put in place programs that lead to community renewal through the preservation, stabilization and development of affordable housing opportunities for local residents.
As part of our primary mission, we will provide preservation services to fight housing decay and abandonment by helping area residents in code enforcement, monitoring building repairs for elderly homeowners, residential emergency services and providing assistance to residents in applying for grants, tax-incentives related to housing and energy improvement programs.
We will also actively seek opportunities for developing affordable housing for seniors, low-income families and families with special needs.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a difference. Thank You
